What a quote should include

Any quote worth signing itemizes tear-off, underlayment, shingle line and color, flashing and ventilation work, decking terms (price per sheet if rot is found), cleanup, and warranty terms — material and workmanship separately. If a quote is one lump number with no breakdown, ask for one.
